Issue with price tag

Unfortunately, I cut the necklace when removing the tag with scissors. I can't wear it. Customer service offered me a 25% discount to repurchase the necklace. That means I would need to purchase the necklace two times!! I would like to return the necklace at my cost and have it replaced. They did not offer this, now I'm stuck with a useless necklace. I'm not happy with their customer service and obviously, it was my fault because I couldn't remove the tag.
